Weekly Intramural Update 16.3

For 16.3 we saw a quick couplet, while introducing another new movement, the Bar Muscle-up. A light Snatch was paired with the Bar Muscle-up, making an easy start but challenging finish to the Rx version of the WOD. The Bar Muscle-up is one of the highest skilled movements that we do in CrossFit, and we saw many firsts and PR’s this week. Those who performed the Scaled version, combined light snatches with the Jumping CTB Pull-up – a much more challenging movement than expected as well. This version definitely packed a punch, pushing multiple people to more than 100 reps in just 7 minutes! Great efforts all around on a quicker Open WOD this week. Any hopes or guesses for 16.4? Many of us are expecting a chipper, and a 15.5 repeat for 16.5!
