2017 Double Dare WODs

Our 4th annual Double Dare Anniversary Partner Competition WODs are below.  Double Dare is put together to have a good time and celebrate what an awesome community we have.  The WODs and levels are designed for everyone in the gym to participate, so grab your partner decide which level is best for your team to participate in.  There is no cost to participate, we just want to celebrate with as much of the community as possible.  Be sure to sign your team up at the bottom of the PR board at the gym.  More event details will be released the week of the event.

 

The day of the event each team will be drawn to a participate with another partnership of the opposite gender, to make a team of 4.

 

WOD 1 “Get It Up”

Rx & Scaled:

AMWAP (As Much Weight As Possible) 7:

Ground-to-Overhead

 

*2 bars, but 1 person works at a time

*Females select 1 weight to use

*Males select 1 weight to use

*Weights cannot be changed

*May perform Snatch or Clean & Jerk, or combination of both

*Score is total weight lifted as a team over 7 minutes

 

Emily & Aman Double Dare

 

WOD 2 “Five 100’s”

Rx:

100 Calorie Row

100 Wall Ball, 20/14#

100 Burpees

100 Toes-to-Bar

100 Calorie Bike

 

Scaled:

100 Calorie Row

100 Wall Ball, 14/10#

100 Burpees

100 Sit-ups

100 Calorie Bike

 

*Teammates must switch every 25 reps, you can choose order of teammates

*20 min time cap if not completed in time

 

NOTE: This competition is for ALL LEVELS in the gym.  Modifications may be provided beyond the Scaled level if needed.
